Why do futures fees seem large relative to margin?
Fees apply to position notional (margin × leverage), not just margin. With 1,000 USDT at 10x leverage, both entry and exit fees are charged on a 10,000 USDT position.
Is the estimated liquidation price exact?
It is an isolated-margin approximation assuming zero maintenance margin. Exchange maintenance-margin requirements and fees generally bring the actual liquidation price closer to entry.
How is position size calculated from a stop loss?
The quantity is chosen so that the loss at the stop price, including the price difference and entry/exit fees, equals your chosen percentage of account balance.
